This is not a Request for Proposal (RFP), Request for Quote (RFQ), or Invitation for Bid (IFB) and is not to be construed as a commitment by the Government to issue an order or otherwise pay for the information solicited, nor is it a guarantee of a forthcoming solicitation or contract. 700 CONS is seeking information for potential contractors. The intent is to contemplate three different requirements into one contract combining appropriated and non-appropriated funds contracts for fitness and sports officials. General Scope of Work. Provide professionally qualified, certified personal and group fitness and health instructors, therapists and sports gaming officials to support the 786th Force Support Squadron (FSS) Fitness Centers’ (FCs) fitness and health training and organized sports programs. Services herein may be funded by either U.S. Government appropriated funds (APF) or by non appropriated funds (NAF). This determination will be made by the Fitness Program Manager (FPM) or Fitness and Sports Manager (FSM) for each program or sporting event and conveyed to the Contractor or their representative in writing in advance SUBMISSION REQUIREMENTS: Responses to this SOURCES SOUGHT SYNOPSIS/MARKET RESEARCH shall not exceed fifteen (15) typed pages and must include the following: (1) Positive statement of intent to submit a proposal as a prime contractor; (2) Listing of projects of similar size and scope completed during the past five years, both for government and private industry. The name/type of project, description, dollar value, contract number, location, and point of contact are to be included. Indicate if you were prime or subcontractor, and if subcontractor, provide the name and point of contact for the prime contractor; and (3) Brief outline of resources, subcontractors, and key personnel that would be used to accomplish this contract; (4) Source Sought Information Form needs to be completed and will be utilized as a cover page for any submission. IMPORTANT NOTICE: All contractors proposing on Department of Defense solicitations must be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) database prior to award of the contract. The purpose of this database is to provide basic business information and capabilities to the Government. The SAM website can be accessed at https://beta.sam.gov. You are encouraged to register as soon as possible. All new contracts can only be made to contractors who are registered in SAM, with an active registration. Responses will not be returned. The information will be used to conduct market research to identify qualified, experienced, and interested potential sources and commercial practices in support of the government's requirements. Respondents will not be notified of the results of the evaluation. The Government does not intend to award a contract based on responses received under this announcement. Contact with Government personnel, other than those specified in the sources sought, by potential offerors or their employees regarding this requirement is not permitted. This is not a request for proposal. It is not to be construed as a formal solicitation or an obligation on the part of the government to acquire any products, construction, or services. The information requested by this Sources Sought will be used within 700 CONS to facilitate decision making and will not be disclosed outside the Federal Government. Any information provided to the government is strictly voluntary and will be provided at no cost to the government. The Government reserves the right to decide whether or not a small business set aside is appropriate based on responses to this notice.
