DESCRIPTION: This is a notice of proposed contract action for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR 5.207. This notice meets the requirement in Far 5.202(a)(13). SCIF Doors must be manufactured in the United States, be shipped securely to a delivery point in the Eastern United States, and meet SCIF certifications. Exact delivery location to be determined at a later date. Doors are to be 40 inches wide and meet STC 50 and RF DB60 specifications. The government intends to procure TWO of the above-mentioned doors. Delivery: The Government encourages participation even if delivery dates are past the desired date. Delivery Closest to desired date if preferred. The closer the quoted date to the desired date, the more favorable. Quoted dates before desired date considered equally as favorable as desired date. Desired Date: 8 June 2025. Proposed procedure: Oral Solicitations for participants that opt in. Anticipated Award Date: 30 April All responsible sources may submit a bid, proposal, or quotation which shall be considered by the agency. Information on obtaining the solicitation: Parties wishing to participate in the solicitation must contact the Contracting Officer identified above via email with “GG SCIF Requirement” in the subject line, a positive response in the body of the email, and any attached supporting documentation if required. Since this is an un-inspectable item and is mandated to be manufactured in the United States, parties must provide proof of shipping capabilities/plans to be considered in the solicitation. Previous sales of SCIF Doors or similar items requiring shipping may satisfy this requirement; if previous sales have been to the DoD, the Government will verify previous contracts and no action from the vendor is required. If no previous sales have been made, proof of shipping capabilities/plans will satisfy the same requirement.
