The Government may require vehicles that meet he size and cargo requirements as outlined below. 2 baggage tractors (Tugs) required to transport loaded baggage bins to and from the terminal to the aircraft (747= approx. 10 baggage bins/mission // 767= approx. 6 baggage bins/mission.) Tugs are required to tow baggage dollies (at times multiple {up to 4} simultaneously) that have a tare (empty) weight of 2,640lbs each. Baggage dollies transport baggage bins loaded with baggage, weighing upwards of 7,000lbs ea (combined gross weight 38,560lbs when towing 4 dollies). Additionally, Tugs are essential to ground servicing commercial aircraft as they have tight turning radius, which is required to navigate in and around other ground service agencies (fuels, catering, staircase trucks, baggage loading equipment). Towing attachments are Pintle Hook (front/back). The vehicles can be electric or diesel
