The 52d Contracting Squadron is anticipating making a single source award to Action Target for a Target Retrieval System. Action Target installed the current target retrieval system at the CATM shooting range in 2007. the current system is outdated and some of the lanes are no longer operational. Action Target is selected as the single source because of their extensive knowledge of the current system as well as the cost. An upgrade to the current system by the same manufacturer has been determined to be a better cost effective solution than purchasing an entirely new target system from another vendor. This notice is for market research purposes only. If the government decides to continue procure this as a single source, a justification and approval document will be completed in accordance with FAR 13.106-1(b)(1). If you believe that your company can offer a similar product & service to meet the Governments needs please respond to this posting with your proposed solution. All inquiries on this action must be submitted by email to the POC: kala.carter@us.af.mil, NO LATER THAN 13 April 2022 @ 1:00 P.M Central European Time. This is NOT a request for proposal and does NOT constitute any commitment by the Government. Responses to this Special Notice will be used by the Government to make appropriate acquisition decisions.
