This acquisition is for a five (5) year (base plus four option years) indefinite delivery indefinite quantity (IDIQ) flooring contract for use at Spangdahlem Air Base and all other areas of responsibility of the 52d Fighter Wing in Germany. This contract would include a variety of floor coverings ranging from linoleum to carpet as well as removal and replacement of glue, sub-flooring, primers, and filling compound as required. The scope of this would include: removal and relocation of existing furniture, removal of floor coverings and related components (baseboards, glue, etc.), repairs of sub-flooring, delivery and installation of floor coverings, cleaning of floor covering, installation of baseboards, sealing and joint sealing areas with appropriate seal (acrylic, silicone, etc.), protecting from moisture, related sand blasting, labor costs, and asbestos abatement (testing, removal, etc.). The seed project for this acquisition would be to install a sports floor meeting the special requirements of weight lifting within the Combat Fitness Room which resides within building 152 at Spangdahlem Air Base. The proposed contract action is by a Defense agency and the proposed contract action will be made and performed outside the United States and its outlying areas, and only local sources will be solicited within the German states of: Rhineland-Pfalz, Saarland, Hessen, and Nordrhein-Westfaln. Proposals are due 04 September 2019 at 3:30 pm Central European Local. 6 AUGUST 2019 - ATTACHMENT 2 "FLOORING IDIQ DATABASE" HAS BEEN ADDED.
