"The contractor shall provide quarterly preventative maintenance to include all labor, tools, parts, materials, equipment, supervision, management, licenses, supplies, transportation, and other items and services necessary to perform Preventive Maintenance Service, including repairs, and TUEV Inspections, (Technischer Ueberwachungs Verein Technical Inspection Agency) of elevators at Spangdahlem Air Base" This RFI for a tentative requirement to procure elevator maintenance. Places of performance: Spangdahlem Air Base Germany The Government may use the responses to this RFI for information and planning purposes. The anticipated period of performance is 1 Sep 2024 to 31 Aug 2025. The structure of this requirement will be a one-year base period with four one-year options. A Request for Proposals using the following NAICS is contemplated: 333921, Elevator and moving stairway manufacturing. This RFI is only for the purpose of identifying potential sources as part of market research. No RFQ or RFP exists. Responses to this RFI are not quotes on which the acquiring agency can issue any contracts. This RFI is issued for information and planning purposes only and does not itself constitute a Request for Quotations or Proposal. The Government does not intend to award a contract based only on responses to this RFI. All information received in response to this RFI marked "Proprietary" will be protected and handled accordingly. Interested parties are responsible for adequately marking proprietary or competition sensitive information contained in their response. Responses to the RFI will not be returned. Responders are solely responsible for all expenses associated with responding to this RFI. The acquiring agency will not pay for information received in response to this RFI. There is no commitment by the Government to issue an RFQ or RFP, make an award or awards, or to be responsible for any monies expended by industry responses to this RFI.
