These kits require the utilization of specific containers in order to meet both transportation and storage needs of material. USAFE requires the 100 OG to provide rapid global mobility in support of air refueling, aeromedical evacuations and cargo to austere environments.

This announcement constitutes a Sources Sought and Request For Information (RFI) for industry comment. This announcement is not a soliciation and is being used for the purpose of market anaylsis only. The 48th Contracting Squadron procures goods and services for DoD activities in the United Kingdom, to include the 48th Fighter Wing, the 100th Air Refueling Wing, 352d Special Operations Wing. This RFI is in consideration for a solicitation to supply and deliver AAR Corp ISU 70KC 4-Door or Equal mobility containers in accordance with the attached salient characteristics. The salient characteristics provides the required specifications for the mobility containers that an alternative item is required to meet to be an equivalent item. Mobility containers would be required to be delivered to RAF Mildenhall. This RFI is issued solely for information and planning purposes to obtain information related to general programmatic topics, price, delivery, product line capabilities analyses, and demographic/other market information. It does not constitute a solicitation or a promise to issue a solicitation in the future. Responses will be treated as information only and will not be used as a proposal. Any information provided by industry to the Government, resulting from this RFI, is strictly voluntarily. Vendors will not be reimbursed for any cost related to this RFI. The information obtained from industry responses to this notice may be used in the development of an acquisition strategy and future RFP. DO NOT submit actual proposals, prices, marketing materials, or any other deliverables in your company’s RFI response. All sources sought responses will be used in whole or in part for determining the most effective acquisition strategy for future acquisitions of similar requirements. Requested information will be used within the Air Force to facilitate decision making and will not be disclosed outside the agency.
