REQUEST FOR INFORMATION 48TH CONTRACTING SQUADRON (USAFE) Issue Date: 11 July 2023 Response Due Date: 19 July 2023 NAICS: 561612 – Security Guards and Patrol Services Subject: Request for Information (RFI) The Government does not intend to award a contract or to otherwise pay for the information received based on this notice. Although “Proposal” is used in this Request for Information, your response will be treated as information only. It shall not be used as a proposal. Description: The 48th Contracting Squadron at RAF Lakenheath, United Kingdom, seeks feedback/sources from companies capable of providing non-personal services to provide Information Monitoring and Protection Services (IMPS) is needed to monitor the Defense Infrastructure Organization (DIO) contractors to ensure that there are no bugging type devices or unlawful activities being performed during the construction of Secure Work Areas (SWA). The companies/entities shall provide all personnel, equipment, supplies, facilities, transportation, tools, materials, supervision, and other items and non-personal services necessary to perform IMPS. Background: The F-35 is a new airframe that is being stationed at various bases to include RAF Lakenheath. DIO is scheduled to build a multi-building F-35 campus that will support F-35 training and operations. These facilities will require accreditation for security purposes and will require Cleared American Guards (CAGs) for this process. Since there is a possibility that building materials may be obtained from foreign vendors, the need for IMPS is critical. Response Guidelines: Only electronic responses will be accepted. This RFI notice is issued for planning purposes only. Responses to this notice will assist the Government in market research and identifying potential source. This notice does not service as a formal Request for Proposal or Request for Quote. Funding is not, and may not be made available to solicit the requirement. This Request for Information is not intended to serve as an official notice to obligate the Government to award a contract and consequently the Government does not intend to pay for any bid/proposal preparation costs. If there are any reasons that prevent your company from providing a proposal should a formal solicitation be issued, please provide further details to assist in market research. Please provide descriptive literature commonly provided to the general public if possible. Please provide pricing for performing the service, if possible.
