Overview This Sources Sought is issued as part of Market Research to identify vendors that can supply and install a Access Control System(ACS). Tyco Security C-Cure 9000 system, and compatible iSTAR controller brand name components to be will be required as part of the system. Delivery and installation shall take place at RAF Mildenhall, Suffolk UK. Contracting Office Address Department of the Air Force, United States Air Force Europe, 48 CONS/PKA - Lakenheath, RAF Lakenheath Unit 5070 Box 270, RAF Lakenheath, Brandon, Suffolk IP27 9PN Description Access Control System IAW attached SOW and general characteristics. Delivery Information The installation location is RAF Mildenhall and will be designated FOB Destination. Accordingly, under FOB Destination delivery procedures, associated costs will not be separated under the resultant solicitation and/or contract award; whereby associated costs by the contractor shall be inclusive of the proposed unit pricing of the vehicles themselves. The contractor will be liable for any damage or costs incurred FOB Destination. Requested Information The following is requested from interested companies; Please indicate if your company is willing/able to provide the brand name components as part of an Access control system. Is there an equal product of a different brand that your company is able to provide? If so, please provide the Manufacturing Part #, National Stock Number, along with the name/description of the product and salient characteristics. Please provide brochures / descriptive literature commonly provided to the general public if possible. Based upon the above description and delivery information, are there any aspects that are unclear and/or do not allow a clear understanding of the US Government’s requirements? Based upon the above description and delivery information, are there commercial industry practices that appear to differ greatly than what is being requested by the US Government under the anticipated, forthcoming solicitation/tender?
