(UPDATED, Combo/Solicitation Extended till 20 July, 2022 at 0930 BST) The 100th CES at RAF Mildenhall is looking to buy a new portable water heater. Specifically this portable water heater will be a 100KW diesel fired, non-condensing water boiler complete with single phase circulation pumps (standby and duty), 2-inch flow and return water connections, 3/4 inch cold water connection all terminating externally of the container with flanged bauer hoses or similar quick connect connections., pressurization unit, stand-alone controls/operating system (to include, digital programmer, frost stat, emergency stop button, and rotary isolator) the complete containerized plant will be trailer mounted for mobility. All personnel, equipment, tools, materials, supervision, transportation, safety equipment, any other items and services necessary to operate the equipment. The heater will include in it a 500-liter bunded metal diesel fuel tank that is able to be transported with a full tank. A flanged bauer or similar manufacturer hose for flow and return connections is needed and to have an operating temperature of 110 Degrees Centigrade. There will need to be bauer or similar piping adaptors to enable connection from hoses to facility’s existing pipe work. An emergency stop button on the outside of the electrical control panel is required. In addition the water heater will come with a trailer to transport it. Make and model of the trailer is required in offer. The trailer will be fully water proof and have an enclosure covering the entire water heater with doors to gain access to it. The container built on the trailer will need ventilation holes to ensure air movement for the boiler. The flue gas pipe coming out of the heater will need to be detachable and have a rain cap. The water heater will come with all internal wiring of installed components and provide a commando plug on the external surface of the container for local hook up of power supply.
