This notice is not a request for proposal or quote. The 48th Contracting Squadron anticipates soliciting for contingency cook services during this fiscal year under the aforementioned NAICS-code. The contractor would be responsible for providing all labor, parts, and materials necessary to perform scheduled maintenance and repair of LRU-33/A and LRU-34/A life rafts. Performance under a resultant contract shall be provided in accordance with the requirements contained in the attached “draft” Performance Work Statement (PWS). NOTE: Although a “draft” Performance Work Statement is provided, this notice does not constitute a solicitation (tender). Place of Performance The location is RAF Lakenheath or various local locations to be determined. Pricing/Payment Information The US Government does not allow payment to be furnished to the contractor until the item has been delivered and accepted. Additionally, payment under US Government contracts must be made by means of Electronic Funds Transfer (EFT.) Contractors who wish to be considered for a US Government contract shall be registered with SAM (System Acquisition Management) and WAWF (Wide Area Work Flow). Note that there is not an associated cost to register accounts under the aforementioned databases. Requested Information The following is requested from interested companies: 1. If the aforementioned service is formally solicited by the Government, would your company be interested in providing a proposal/quote? If so, please provide specific details on a company letterhead. Ensure to include a point of contract for Government sales, a current email address, company address, and business phone number. 2. Is your company providing like services, similar in scope and complexity to those described in the PWS, for any other Government or public sector agency? If, so, please provide a concise listing of those contracts/projects with respective agencies. 3. Based upon the attached “draft” PWS, are there any aspects that are unclear and do not allow a distinct understanding of the Government’s requirements? 4. Based upon the attached “draft” PWS, do commercial industry practices differ greatly than what is being requested by the Government?
