This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This solicitation is issued as a Request for Quote (RFQ), in accordance with FAR Parts 12 and 13. This solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular FAC 2021-07, effective 10 September 2021, Defense Federal Acquisition Regulation Supplement (DFARS) effective 30 August 2021, and Air Force Federal Acquisition Regulation Supplement (AFFARS) effective 26 July 2021. Solicitation number: FA558721Q0107 North American Industry Classification System Code (NAICS): 611430 Size standard: N/A Type of set-aside: Due to overseas location, no set-aside will be used in accordance with FAR 19.000(b). The 48 Communications Squadron (CS) Tactical team is looking for training that will increase our depth and breadth of knowledge for certain pieces of radio equipment, which are the PRC-117G, PRC-152 and PRC-160. All of these devices can be used for line of site communication as well as satellite-based communication. We request the training to be held at RAF Lakenheath for up to 10 personnel. This announcement closes at 4:30 British Summer Time on Friday, 17 September 2021. This RFI is not a request for competitive quotes; therefore, responses to this notice are not considered offers and cannot be accepted by the Government to form a binding contract. RAF Lakenheath is in the process of obtaining information on PRC 117G, PRC 152, and PRC 160 radio training for twelve (12) individuals in the United Kingdom. This should be a multi-day basic training course to include, but not limited to, basic functions on operation. 48 CONS is requesting information from industry to determine if there are multiple capable vendors in the commercial marketplace to perform the functions required in the attached Statement of Work (SOW). The responses submitted are to be used for market research purposes only. This is NOT a request for proposal. The information gathered from this RFI will be treated as proprietary data, and only the Air Force will have access to the responses.
