This Statement of Objectives (SOO) defines requirements for Contractor to Engineer, Design, Furnish, Install, and Test (EDFI&T) expansions to add and integrate five (5) new RSSs into the existing standalone GV system at RAF Fairford and one (1) new RSS into the existing standalone GV system at RAF Welford to provide for areas lacking real-time intelligible acoustic coverages. The GV expansion at RAF Fairford shall reuse the existing UHF frequency for the digital two-way UHF radio communications links, and the GV expansion at RAF Welford shall reuse the existing VHF frequency for the digital two-way VHF radio communications links. The GV expansion at RAF Fairford shall include upgrading two (2) existing outdated CCSs, adding and integrating one (1) new CCS, and relocating one (1) existing RSS. The GV expansion at RAF Welford shall include upgrading and relocating one (1) existing outdated CCS. All GV expansions shall also include configuration, integration, equipment reuse and upgrade, radio equipment, wooden poles, AC circuit extensions, battery backups, solar panels, lightning protection, grounding, cabling, and other components necessary to complete and place each standalone expanded GV system at RAF Fairford and Welford in full service.
