This combo synopis/solicitation is for two hardened pre-fabricated guard towers and includes an option to order up to 11 more within one year after the contract is awarded. The 11 towers on the option CLIN are not guaranteed to get funded and theres also a chance some of the 11 get funded but not all of them. These towers should be commercial towers that have already been tested and not new designs to fit this requirement. The towers must include the following items: • 360 degree protection • Ballistic steel (NIJ Level IV) • 8 Ballistic glass windows • Booth size 8’x8’x8’ • 12”x12” Gun Ports 4 each w sliding steel doors • Air conditioner and heater • 14 Gauge interior walls • Floor at least 20’ off the ground • Stair system, not a ladder • Ballistic door 3’x6’8” (NIJ Level IV) • R26 insulation • UL certified prewired electrical system • LED lights • 20A duplex receptacles on interior walls
