THIS IS NOT A REQUEST FOR QUOTE/PROPOSAL: It is not to be construed as a commitment by the Government to issue a solicitation or ultimately award a contract. Responses will not be considered as quotes/proposals, nor will any award be made as a result of this Sources Sought notice. Any information provided by businesses to the Government is strictly voluntary. The Government will NOT be responsible for any costs incurred by interested businesses responding to this Sources Sought notice. Contact with other than 475 EABS/CONS personnel by potential offerors or their employees regarding this notice is prohibited. The purpose of this notice is to conduct market research only. DESCRIPTION OF SERVICES. The Government at Camp Simba, Manda Bay, Kenya has a requirement for the contractor to conduct all repairs to a P-19 Aircraft Rescue and Fire Fighting vehicle IAW with vehicle maintenance Technical Order: 36A12-8-17-2 maintenance and overhaul guide. Items to be removed will be body panels, water/foam tanks, rear engine compartment, radiator, engine/power divider/transmission as an assembly, and all fluids pertaining to previously listed items. Perform maintenance/serviceability inspection of the power divider and replace all parts needed to return the component back to full function capabilities. Once maintenance is completed all removed components will need to be re-installed to standard vehicle configuration. Interested businesses should respond to the question presented within this Sources Sought Notice in order to facilitate the Government's market research efforts. The Government will analyze all responses and determine the business strategy for this acquisition.
