Installa... The 724 EABS Contracting Flight at AB 201, Agadez, Niger intends to award a sole-source/Brand Name, contract to Cummings for BPU parts and installation. The Cummings BPU model nuber is DQBPU. Installation of parts will be in Agadez, Niger. See parts listed on attachment 1. In accordance with FAR 6.302-1(a)(2), "Only One Responsible Source and No Other Supplies or Services Will Satisfy Agency Requirements". The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code for this acquisition is 423610, Electrical Apparatus and Equipment, Wiring Supplies, and Related Equipment Merchant Wholesalers, with a size standard of 200 employees. The resulting contract will be firm-fixed price. This notice is not a request for competitive proposals. A determination by the Government not to compete the proposed procurement action based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. All responsible sources may submit a capability statement which shall be considered by the agency before the intended award date. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose if determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. Interested sources who submit data are responsible for appropriately marking information, if it is proprietary in nature. No requests for capability briefings will be honored as a result of this notice, and any information provided will not be used as part of any subsequent solicitation requirement. The Government will not be responsible for any costs incurred in preparation of any capabilities statements or documents prepared for this notice. A confirmation of Government receipt will be the contractor's responsibility. No solicitation is available and telephone requests for information will not be accepted. All responses shall be sent via e-mail and referencing BPU Parts to TSgt T Miller, Contract Officer, at t.miller@agdz.deployed.af.mil. If no response is received by 1:00 P.M. EST, 28 March 2019, an award will be pursued with the vendor indicated above.
