This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals/quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The solicitation/synopsis reference number is FA5422-19-Q-2001 and is being issued as a Request for Quote (RFQ). The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular (FAC) 2019-01 (effective 20 Dec 18). This acquisition is be conducted as unrestricted. North American Industry Classification Standard (NAICS) 332311 "Prefabricated Metal Building and Component Manufacturing" and the size standard is 750 employees. The Government contemplates award of a Firm Fixed Price Contract to the responsible vendor whose quote conforms to the requirements of the solicitation and is most advantageous to the Government. All firms must be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) database @ www.sam.gov to be considered for award. All questions should be submitted by email to the contracting office at 475eabscontracting@mob05.deployed.af.mil no later than close of business (5:00PM) on 12 Mar 19 Central Daylight Time (CDT). The Government has no obligation to answer any question received after the due date and time. CLIN 0001 - Containerized Kennel System -Containerized Kennel System preferably all indoor (no outdoor kennel run) -Shall house minimum 2 (preferred), no more than 4 Military Working Dogs (MWDs) -Tool Free/Minimal Assembly -Shall have 220V/50Hz compatible power -Water Hookups for running water capability in each kennel run and food prep area -Sanitary sewer system (Internal drainage channels to divert fluids to external drainage system -Leak proof seam floor finish -Split HVAC unit(s) with fresh /recycle air capabilities -Minimum interior kennel run area for each MWD is 50 square feet (80 sq ft preferred) -Shall have food preparation area and food storage area -Shall include a raised sleeping area (bed) for each MWD -Shall include interior lighting -Minimum standards in accordance with Army FM 3.19.17.
