The purpose of this pre-solicitation notice is to inform the industry of the upcoming requirement for corrosion control services at Kadena Air Base, Japan. The proposed contract action will be an Multiple Award IDIQ entered into with qualified vendors pursuant to the same solicitation. The envisioned IDIQ will be firm-fixed price (FFP), that provides a contract vehicle for the execution of corrosion control/prevention services for the various vehicles for 18 LRS, Kadena Air Base, Japan. The contractor shall use a labor force, with the appropriate skills to meet contract requirements. The contractor shall provide all personnel, supplies, facilities, transportation, tools, materials, supervision, and all other items and non-personal services necessary to perform vehicle corrosion control, rustproofing, and painting requirements. The primary North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code for this requirement will be NAICS Code No. 811121 and Product Service Code (PSC) No. J023. During the life of the IDIQ, Task Orders will be competed amongst those successful contractor(s) who receive an IDIQ Contract Award. See attachments for additional information.
