This is not a solicitation announcement for proposal and no contract will be awarded from this announcement. No reimbursement will be made for any costs associated with providing information in response to this announcement or any follow-up information requests. The U.S. Air Force at Kadena AB in Okinawa is assessing leasing options for four (4) rapidly deployable engineered structures. The sizes for the structures are: 112ft by 90ft (2EA), 117ft by 120ft (1EA), and 50ft by 60ft (1EA-Admin). Three (3) structures shall be used to house aircrafts and the fourth shall be used as admin/office space to include restroom facilities to accommodate approximately 53 personnel. The 3 aircraft structures shall be installed on existing concrete and the admin structure shall be installed on grass. No concrete or asphalt shall be placed as part of this lease. These structures shall be designed to withstand a windspeed of 168MPH. The U.S. Air Force is looking for a turn-key setup to include utility connections for complete and useable structures no later than end of Nov 2023. RFI Questions: How will your company source for sub-contractors and heavy equipment/materials to complete the installation? Do you have the engineered structures readily available for lease or do you still have to design and manufacture? Does your company have experience installing or constructing facilities on an U.S. Air Force airfield? Will your manpower consist of purely local nationals, third country nationals, U.S citizens, or a combination of all three? Does your company have experience designing and installing portable engineered structures that can withstand a 168MPH windspeed? A site visit is scheduled on July 14, 2023, interested parties shall submit Attachment 1 - Request form for Site Visit no later than 13:00 hrs. July 12, 2023.
