The Air Force intends to solicit quotes from qualified vendors for a firm-fixed price contract for the replacement of lighting fixutres and security poles at Tengan Booster, located at Kadena Air Base, Okinawa, Japan. The attached SOW has further specifications. The proposed contract will be awarded using full and open competition. The government intends to make award to the offeror that represents the best overall value considering price and technical acceptability. Solicitation No. FA527023R0008 will be issued as a Request for Proposals. It is advertised with a North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code of 335122. Proposals will be accepted when submitted via e-mail to Tahj.Guilford@us.af mil; Hard copy proposals must be deposited in the bid depository located at 18 CONS/PKA, Bldg. 95, Kadena AB, Okinawa. If hard copies are submitted, email copy must also be submitted. All prospective offerors interested in submitting proposals must have a Commercial and Governments Entity (CAGE) code, and must be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM)(https://www.sam.gov/portal/public/SAM/) in order to be eligible for receipt of contract award.
