This Simplified Acquisition of Base Engineer Requirements (SABER) contract will encompass a broad range of maintenance, repair, and minor construction work at Kadena Air Base and other USG facilities in Okinawa, Japan. This will be a fixed-price, indefinite-delivery indefinite-quantity (IDIQ) type contract with a wide variety of individual construction tasks to perform non-complex and simple scope projects that are valued approximately between from $2,000 (or yen equivalent) to $1,000,000 (yen equivalent) threshold. Though some projects may exceed the upper threshold. Award of this solicitation will result in at least one Fixed Price, Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) Contracts. The total program value is Not-To-Exceed $49,500,000.00 (or Yen equivalent) over a five-year period. The seed project in this solicitation will be awarded as the first task order under the new SABER as the result of this source selection, see section Attachment 7; Seed Project Offerors: Funds are not presently available for the seed project. No award will be made until funds are available to make payments under a contract. Magnitude for the seed project is between $100,000 and $250,000 Add (or Yen equivalent).
