The EXTRAN™ Ultrafiltration System Model I (EUS-I) is a complete water filtration system that includes a holding tank for the used FPI wastewater and a holding tank for the filtered, clean water. The solution is filtered with EXTRAN™ ultrafiltration to remove nearly all of the contamination. The small amount of residual contamination is removed with activated carbon polishing. Pre-filter – bag filter for removing solids Dirty water tank – stainless tank for the used water Process pump – circulates dirty water through module EXTRANÔ Module – state-of-the-art membrane Clean water tank – holding tank for clean water Polishing – option removes small amount of residual color Circulation pump – pressurizes water for polishing UV light – optional inhibits bacteria for recycle systems Chiller – optional maintains temp for recycled water Secondary containment- optional for spill containment
