Standard Air Force small arms and light weapons (SA/LW) are replicated including the rifle, carbine, pistol, grenade launcher, all machine guns including the MK19, the M870 modular combat shotgun, Javelin and the AT4. The firearms simulator is used to train and evaluate individual weapons handling and marksmanship skills for Airmen at base/unit level and may be used at formal training courses and expeditionary training centers. Firearms simulators are also used to provide unit collective gunnery and tactical training for static mounted and dismounted small units/teams.
