Additionally, as a reminder contractors shall submit a price of $500 for CLIN 0001. CLINS 0005 and 1005 are not separately priced therefore the price should be $0 for those CLINS. ** UPDATE 9/9/2021** The government ask contractors to pay particular attention to CLIN 0001 and provide the price of $500 as the minimum guarantee. The government contract writing system did not allow for the input of this amount. Please see attached amendment 0002 where we updated the PWS, addendum, and 52.212-1. ** UPDATE 9/8/2021** The purpose of this amendment is to upload questions and answers. Another amendent containing updated PWS and addendums will be posted tomorrow, 9/9/2021. ** UPDATE 8/26/2021 ** The purpose of this amendment is to upload the Solicitation Amendment, revised PWS (25 Aug 2021), PWS Addendum D, site visit questions and answers as well as the site location. ** UPDATE 8/13/2021 ** The purpose of this amendment is to upload attachment 4. It failed to upload on the original posting. ** UPDATE 8/12/2021 ** A physical site visit will be conducted at 2:00 pm JST Thursday, August 19, 2021 at Building 839 on Kadena AB. All contractors interested in attending the site visit should contact 1st Lt Jenna Maginnis jenna.maginnis@us.af.mil no later than 12:00 pm JST Tuesday, August 17, 2021 to confirm attendance or for any further questions. If you plan to attend please indicate whether or not you have base access or will require a pass for the day. for refurbishing Aerospace Ground Equipment (AGE) and Munitions Material Handling Equipment (MMHE) for the 18th Wing, Kadena Air Base, Okinawa, Japan. Refurbishment through corrosion control, repair and prevention is an essential element of the 18th Wing mission. The contractor, acting as the service provider, is an extension of the DOD’s maintenance capability that provides corrosion prevention, repair maintenance and painting for the 18th Maintenance Group (MXG) of the 18th Wing. For the purpose of this PWS both AGE and MMHE will be referred to as Support Equipment or SE unless otherwise noted.
