Synopsis: This sources sought is issued to announce the 18th Contracting Squadron, Kadena AB, Okinawa, Japan, in performing market research to determine interest and capability. This is not a Request for Quote (RFQ) and responses to this invitation are not offers and cannot be accepted by the Government to form a binding contract. This is not a guarantee of a future RFQ or an award. This document should not be construed as a commitment of any kind by the Government. Any information provided to the Government in response to this document will become 18th Contracting Squadron property and will not be returned. The Government will not reimburse contractors for any cost associated with responding to the request. The purpose of this notice is to conduct market research and obtain information from qualified business. This sources sought is being sent out to identify potential sources to meet the requirements for the administrative/personnel support position for the 18th Medical Group. Description of Services: The Contractor shall provide administrative/personnel support for the 18th Medical Group, providing administrative guidance and a variety of support service functions to include: , management of the Government Travel Card (GTC) program to include initiating card applications, tracking of reports and notifying members of delinquent accounts, official mail service, publications, correspondence and suspense control, military and civilian travel orders, Environmental and Morale Leave (EML) orders, approval and tracking of leave requests as well as monthly audits of leave taken by 18 MDG personnel, duty status reporting, EPR/OPR tracking, Performance Feedback management, Sponsorship program, Drug Demand Reduction Program Trusted Agent duties to include notifications, coordinating and oversight of Medical Group Instructions (MDGIs), and requisitioning administrative supplies and equipment for the Group’s Commander’s Support Staff. In addition to Microsoft Word, Power point, Excel, and Access computer programs, will work on a variety of databases and websites to include, but not limited to Assignment Management System (AMS), Government Travel Card (GTC), Defense Travel System (DTS), LeaveWeb, Manager’s Internal Control Toolset (MICT) Program, and any other program access deemed necessary for duties in this position. Place of Performance: The 18th Medical Group located at Kadena Air Base, Okinawa, Japan. The anticipated requirement is for 12-months base year plus 4 one-year options starting from 28 September 2021.
