X-Ray Maintenance Place of Performance: Kadena AB, Japan //REVIEW ALL ATTACHMENTS// (The quote shall remain valid until 30 June 2020) This is a Solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The solicitation FA5270-20-Q-B013 is being issued as a Request for Quotation (RFQ). This notice and the incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through the Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR). The contracting officer reserves the right to cancel this solicition at any time. The government is not responsible for costs associated with providing or preparing a response to this solicitation. Offerors must be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) at http://www.sam.gov/ in order to be considered for award. A current copy of a prospective awardee’s Reps and Certs will be validated using the SAM website prior to the issuance of an award. The following commercial provisions and clauses are applicable to this acquisition: 52.212-1, 52.212-2, 52.212-3, 52.212-4, and 52.212-5. The following clauses cited in FAR 52.212-5 are also applicable: 52.203-6, 52.204-10, 52.209-6, 52.222-19, 52.222-21, 52.222-26, 52.222-50, 52.223-18, and 52.225-13. Except for what’s listed within this solicitation and attachments, the contracting officer has not considered additional terms and conditions at this time. However, the contracting officer reserves the right to incorporate additional terms and conditions by addendum via amendment or contract modification and bilateral agreement with the offeror(s). Terms and conditions required by law or statute shall be inserted as necessary. Offerors must be certified by Astrophysics LLC, the manufacturer of the equipment to be maintained, to work on the model, XIS-7858, Astrophysics passenger baggage screening x-ray machines. All work to be performed by the contractor must align with the statement of work (SOW) found in attachment 1. This is a brand name requirement as identified in FAR 6.302-1(c) (please reference attached J&A).
