This is a market research/sources sought notice for a commercial off-the-shelf wide-format printer/cutter system, including delivery, installation, and training, for a government facility; it is not a solicitation and no contract will be awarded based on responses. The system must combine printing and contour cutting in one unit, handle media at least 54 inches wide, use durable eco-solvent inks, feature automated maintenance suited to maritime environments, include optical registration tracking and RIP software, and support multiple specialty substrates. Installation and hands-on training for up to four personnel will occur on-site at the designated 36 MXS facility, within a climate-controlled environment. The contractor must coordinate delivery with the government point of contact at least 14 days before arrival. Interested parties should submit a capability statement with administrative details, and the government accepts equivalent commercial solutions and qualified third-party installers or trainers.
