NOTICE OF INTENT The 36th Contracting Squadron, Andersen AFB, Guam intends to award a sole source contract to Reed-Joseph International Company (cage code 0MGG7), 505 Mountain Industrial Drive Brevard, North Carolina 28712-0658, United States. Reed-Joseph will be able to provide a certified Reed-Joseph technician to perform quarterly maintenance inspections on the BASH Scare Wars System. The 36th Wing Safety Office requires preventative maintenance on the BASH Scare Wars system to prolong the life of the system. This purchase will be made under Simplified Acquisition Procedures and Other Than Full and Open Competition as authorized by FAR 13.106-1(b). The anticipated award date is 01 June 2023. Please note that this is not a request for competitive proposals. However, all interested parties who believe they can meet the requirements are invited to submit in writing complete information describing their ability to provide the services listed above. A determination by the government not to compete this requirement based on responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the government. Information received will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. A Sole Source Justification Letter will be posted with the Notice of Intent to Award Sole Source IAW Far 6.305(a).
