Andersen Air Force Base, Guam has a design-build construction requirement to Renovate Aircraft Equipment Maintenance Facilities B18004 and B18009. DESCRIPTION OF WORK: The contractor shall Renovate Aircraft Equipment Maintenance Facilities B18004 and B18009, Andersen AFB, Guam. This is a Design-Build project to design and Renovate Aircraft Equipment Maintenance Facilities B18004 and B18009. This project is intended to renovate by replacing the roof system, roll up doors with motors, sensors, controls, seals and frames, electrical panels and painting (exterior and interior) of B18004 and interior of B18009 Aircraft Equipment Maintenance Facilities in accordance with all the applicable codes, guidance, policy to include but not limited to Unified Facilities Criteria’s and Andersen Air Force Base Architectural Compatibility and Base Design Standards (ACBDS). Tentative period of performance is 300 days. MAGNITUDE FAR 36.204: $1,000,000 - $5,000,000 LOCATION OF WORK: Andersen AFB, Guam TENTATIVE DATE OF ISSUE: The solicitation number for this acquisition will be FA524023R0028 and will be available for retrieval at sam.gov once posted on or about 03 August 2023. RESTRICTION TO SMALL BUSINESS: This acquisition is being competed as a Historically Underutilized Business Zone (HUBZone) Small Business set-aside. The applicable North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this acquisition is 236220 Commercial and Institutional Building Construction with a small business size standard of $45 million. The eventual contract for this acquisition is contemplated to be Firm-Fixed Price (FFP). PLANS & INSPECTION: Available planning documentation will be provided in the solicitation. A pre-proposal site visit will be advertised in the solicitation. OTHER INFORMATION: The solicitation for this acquisition will be issued electronically and will be publicized via sam.gov. Interested offerors are responsible for retrieving their own copy of the solicitation and all associated documents from the sam.gov website as no paper copies will be furnished. No offeror mailing list will be maintained. Interested offerors should register at the sam.gov website in order to receive notification of any additions or changes to the publicized solicitation.
