DESCRIPTION OF WORK: The contractor shall Construct North Gate Unisex Bathroom B-14620, Andersen AFB, Guam. This is a Design-Build project to design and Construct Unisex Bathroom at North Gate, Bldg. 14620. The restroom shall be climate controlled. This includes (1) one sink, (1) one toilet, storage for cleaning materials, and 2’ x 2’ window and exhaust. This project shall comply with the latest criteria, all applicable codes, regulations, and specifications. Tentative period of performance is 270 days. MAGNITUDE FAR 36.204: $250,000 - $500,000 LOCATION OF WORK: Andersen AFB, Guam TENTATIVE DATE OF ISSUE: The solicitation number for this acquisition will be FA524023R0027 and will be available for retrieval at sam.gov once posted on or about 28 July 2023. RESTRICTION TO SMALL BUSINESS: This acquisition is being competed as a Historically Underutilized Business Zone (HUBZone) Small Business set-aside. The applicable North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this acquisition is 236220 Commercial and Institutional Building Construction with a small business size standard of $45 million. The eventual contract for this acquisition is contemplated to be Firm-Fixed Price (FFP). PLANS & INSPECTION: Available planning documentation will be provided in the solicitation. A pre-proposal site visit will be advertised in the solicitation. OTHER INFORMATION: The solicitation for this acquisition will be issued electronically and will be publicized via sam.gov. Interested offerors are responsible for retrieving their own copy of the solicitation and all associated documents from the sam.gov website as no paper copies will be furnished. No offeror mailing list will be maintained. Interested offerors should register at the sam.gov website in order to receive notification of any additions or changes to the publicized solicitation. All offerors must be registered within the System for Award Management (SAM) database.
