Andersen Air Force Base, Guam has a design-build construction requirement to replace in-pavement approach lighting systems. DESCRIPTION OF WORK: The contractor shall replace the existing In-Pavement Approach Lighting System on the runway. The work shall include the replacement of existing light fixtures flush mounted in-pavement approach lighting system, outer rings adaptors, 5 KV underground cables, ground wires, heat shrink cable splices, isolation transformers (IL) and other appurtenances for a system complete and ready for use. All other design and construction provisions shall be included to ensure a completely operational and energy efficient facility complying with all environmental issues. MAGNITUDE (FAR 36.204): $1,000,000 - $5,000,000 LOCATION OF WORK: Andersen AFB, Guam TENTATIVE DATE OF ISSUE: The solicitation number for this acquisition will be FA524022R0008 and will be available for retrieval at beta.sam.gov once posted on or about 15 April 2022. RESTRICTION TO SMALL BUSINESS: This acquisition is being competed as a Historically Underutilized Business Zone (HUBZone) Small Business set-aside. The applicable North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this acquisition is 238210, with a small business size standard of $16.5 million. The eventual contract for this acquisition is contemplated to be Firm-Fixed Price (FFP). PLANS & INSPECTION: Available planning documentation will be provided in the solicitation. A pre-proposal site visit will be advertised in the solicitation. OTHER INFORMATION: The solicitation for this acquisition will be issued electronically and will be publicized via beta.sam.gov. Interested offerors are responsible for retrieving their own copy of the solicitation and all associated documents from the beta.sam.gov website as no paper copies will be furnished. No offeror mailing list will be maintained. Interested offerors should register at the beta.sam.gov website in order to receive notification of any additions/changes to the publicized solicitation.
