The Contractor shall provide corrosion control maintenance/repair services for nine (9) generators and five (5) light carts. Equipment will be picked up, equipment will be disassembled to expose all rust, damaged panels will be repaired, replaced, or re-fabricated as needed, corrosion will be removed via sandblasting or other necessary means, equipment will be prepared for first coating, equipment will be painted and coated with corrosion protection agent, reassemble equipment, and deliver equipment back to 554 Red Horse Squadron (RHS). A step by step process is as follows: Nine (9) generators and five (5) light carts in need of corrosion repair and prevention services will be picked up from 554RHS/ROCEP for corrosion repair and prevention services. Equipment will be disassembled to expose all rust. Damaged panels will be repaired, replaced, or re-fabricated as needed. Corrosion will be removed via sandblasting or other necessary means. Equipment will prepared for first coating: sanding, degrease surfaces, etc. First coating: primer coat and prepared for next coat of protective paint. Complete the remainder of paint coatings. (Final paint color should be camouflage, dark green, or tan). Apply corrosion protection agent. Reassemble equipment. Deliver the repaired nine (9) generators and five (5) light carts back to 554RHS/ROCEP. Please see attached Sources Sought document for additional details.
