The contractor shall design and renovate Military Working Dog (MWD) Kennels for buildings 2414, 2415, 2416, and training area. Work includes, but is not limited to, repair of doors, clogged floor drains, application of new rhino lining, painting, and installation of artificial grass for MWD training area. Additionally, work will include the replacement of three light pole fixtures and arms, including receptacle outlet and wiring to the power source, removal or existing training equipment, and clearing and grading the entire MWD Training Area. Tentative period of performance is 500 days. MAGNITUDE (FAR 36.204): Between $1,000,000 and $5,000,000. LOCATION OF WORK: Andersen AFB, Guam TENTATIVE DATE OF ISSUE: The solicitation number for this acquisition will be FA524022R0013, and will be available for retrieval on or about 1 June 2022. RESTRICTION TO SMALL BUSINESS: This acquisition is being competed as a Historically Underutilized Business Zone (HUBZone) Small Business set-aside. The applicable North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this acquisition is 236220, with a small business size standard of $39.5 million. The eventual contract for this acquisition is contemplated to be Firm-Fixed Price (FFP). PLANS & INSPECTION: Available planning documentation will be provided in the solicitation. A pre-proposal site visit will be advertised in the solicitation. OTHER INFORMATION: The solicitation for this acquisition will be issued electronically and will be publicized via sam.gov.
