The contractor must engineer, furnish, install, and test 12 new strands of single-mode blown fiber optic cable. The cable will run from the Lightning Vault Building (Bldg. 1603) to the ATCALS Weather Instrument on Wake Island. The contractor will also install the new fiber optic distribution panels (FODPs) into which these fiber strands will be placed.
