This is NOT a solicitation for proposals, proposal abstracts, or quotations. The purpose of this notice is to obtain information regarding the availability and capability of qualified sources. Your responses to the information requested will assist the Government in determining the appropriate acquisition method and assess qualified vendor availability. The 647 FSS is requiring mortuary services for the care and disposition of remains of authorized personnel. We are seeking local mortuary service providers located in Hawaii. The contractor shall provide facilities, equipment, licensed personnel, motor vehicles, professional services, supplies, death certificates, caskets, urns, outer shipping containers, transportation, and perform hygienic practices as specified in this Performance Work Statement. The contractor shall comply with the highest industry standards in fulfilling the terms and conditions of this contract. Our intent is to identify potential sources/companies that are able to meet the requirement located in the state of Hawaii to determine if competition is available in order to establish Blanket Purchase Agreements for mortuary services. The Contractor shall be required to perform all services noted in the attached PWS and meet the minimum requirements as stated. All qualified sources are invited to submit capability statements that substantiate their experience and qualifications in performing services. Interested firms shall indicate if they have provided similar mortuary services under terms and conditions similar to those stated in this notice. Responses to this notice should include company name, address, and telephone number, point of contact (POC), and brochures which will allow the Government to understand your service offerings and options.
