SUBJECT: Request for Information (RFI) DISCLAIMER: This constitutes as preliminary market research and is issued for informational and planning purposes only. Market research information will be used to identify qualified, experienced, and interested potential sources and commercial practices in support of the government’s requirements. In accordance with FAR 15.201 (e), responses to this notice are not offers and cannot be accepted by the Government to form a binding contract. This is not a request for proposal. It is not to be construed as a formal solicitation or an obligation on the part of the government to acquire any products or services. The information requested by this preliminary market research will be used within the Air Force to facilitate decision making and will not be disclosed outside the agency. Any information provided to the government is strictly voluntary and will be provided at no cost to the government. 1. The 766th Specialized Contracting Squadron (766 SCONS) is conducting market research to determine feasibility for a potential requirement. This is a Request for Information (RFI) issued to obtain knowledge and information for acquisition and project planning purposes. This is NOT a solicitation for proposals, proposal abstracts, or price quotations. The purpose of this notice is to obtain information from vendors regarding their interest and capabilities for the replacement a drop arm barrier for the Detachment 3, 21st Space Operations Squadron located at Kaena Point Satellite Tracking Station, Hawaii. The Government does not intend to award a contract on the basis of this RFI or pay for any information or administrative costs incurred in response to this RFI; all costs associated with responding to this RFI will be solely at the interested party’s expense. In addition, the Government will not accept unsolicited proposals. The information provided is entirely voluntary and will not impact the ability to compete on future requirements. 2. Description of the information requested: a. Company size (Large, Small, WOSB, VOSB, etc.) e. Does your company have experience working with Government contracts? f. Does your company have experience delivering the required materials? g. Does your company have the capability to perform the entire requirement? If not, identify which line item(s) cannot be procured and delivered. h. Identify the lead time required for procuring and delivering required items to Oahu, Hawaii. i. Provide any other pertinent information that will assist us in this assessment. 3.
