The government intends to award a firm-fixed-price contract on a non-competitive basis to repair lights outside the helipad at Akasaka Press Center and at Camp Zama for DPW, USAGJ. The contractor must provide all personnel, supervision, tools, equipment, transportation, and materials needed to support U.S. Army/Japan Ground Self-Defense Forces bilateral exercises ORIENT SHIELD 26 (OS26) and YAMA SAKURA 91 (YS91), complying with commercial standards, local standards, Japanese ordinances, and Japanese laws. All work will be performed entirely in Japan, requiring the successful offeror to hold valid Japanese licenses and possess a Japanese CAGE code. An award date is anticipated around 11 August 2026, subject to change.
