The government intends to award a firm-fixed price contract for inspection and on-site repairs of U.S. Army Pier Barge Gangways at Kure and Akizuki Port in Hiroshima, Japan. The contractor must provide all labor, tools, materials, and transportation to perform the work at Kure Pier 6 and the Akizuki Ammunition Depot. Performance must comply with the Performance Work Statement, commercial standards, Japan Environmental Governing Standard, and manufacturer’s specifications. The entire project will be performed in Japan, and the successful offeror must hold valid Japanese licenses and a Japanese CAGE code. The anticipated award date is around 1 September 2026.
