Amendment 0002 was issued to revise the Quantity and to update Performance Work Statement. Please refer to SF1449 and revised PWS for details. ---------------------------------------- The Contractor shall remove solids from basket(s) connecting inlet pipes. The Contractor shall pump out all contents, including grease/oil and sludge, and clean inside of grease traps. The Contractor shall flush down with water and pump out remaining residue, and clear obstructions in inlet/outlet pipes to ensure unrestricted flow, required by the unique configuration of the grease trap. Before completion, the Contractor shall add sufficient recharge water to restore the grease trap to proper operation and inspect all parts for defects. The recharged water must be higher than the lowest dividing plate. Problems shall be reported to the Contracting Officer Representative (COR) in writing and orally within 24 hours of discovery. The Contractor shall properly transport and dispose of collected waste in accordance with “Waste Management and Public Cleansing Law The Contractor shall possess and submit following applicable business permits, certifications, and licenses to accomplish grease trap cleaning services in accordance JEGS and Japanese laws.
