Synopsis: Log # FA5209-21-U0019 This is NOT a solicitation announcement. This sources sought notice is for information and planning purposes only and shall not be construed as a solicitation or as an obligation on the part of the Department of Defense (DoD). The 374th Contracting Office, Yokota Air Base Japan, is seeking sources that can provide a 6.1 Ton Wing Truck and a 3.2 Ton Flatbed Truck. These are preferred sizes, there is flexibility. The purpose of this sources sought is to gain knowledge of potential qualified sources and their size classification relative to NAICS 336112 Pick-up trucks, light duty, assembling on chassis of own manufacture. Responses to this sources sought will be used by the Government to make appropriate acquisition decisions. After review of the responses to this sources sought, a solicitation announcement may be published. Responses to this sources sought synopsis are not considered adequate responses for a solicitation announcement.
