Description: The Contractor shall provide all management, tools, supplies, equipment, and labor necessary to inspect and maintain all automatic opening doors at Yokota Air Base and Tama Hills Recreation Area (Tama Annex) in accordance with commercial practice, the applicable Japanese law and its supplemental regulations as it is stipulated in this Performance-based Work Statement (PWS). A list of automatic opening doors and their locations are shown in Appendix A. Pre-proposal Conference: A pre-proposal conference will be conducted at 10:00 AM on 14 Jul 2020 at the 374th Contracting Squadron, Bldg. 620, Yokota Air Base. All offerors who are interested in this requirement are encouraged to participate in this pre-proposal conference. Please submit the names of all attendees (not to exceed 3 persons) to Ms. Ikumi Sato by e-mail at ikumi.sato.jp@us.af.mil by 02:00 PM on 10 Jul 2020. This information must be provided in advance in order to ensure access to the military base/conference site and adequate seating for the conference attendees. Those who need an escort are required to come to the Gate 5 (Supply Gate) by 09:30 AM on 14 Jul 2020. You must bring the proper identification ((1) Passport, (2) Driver's License & original Residence Certificate that shows Permanent Address and is within 6 months from issuance, (3) Juki-net card, and/or (4) My Number Card with photo). For the vehicle pass, please make sure you bring the proper original insurance documents, a valid liability insurance must cover the automobile liability insurance in the types and minimum amounts of (i) Bodily Injury - ¥30,000,000 per person per occurrence, in addition to the Japanese Compulsory Insurance (JCI), and (ii) Property Damage - ¥3,000,000 per occurrence. Failure to provide the proper documentation may cause you not be able to enter the base. The Government will not provide any transportations to participants. NOTE: THIS PROJECT WILL BE PERFORMED IN ITS ENTIRETY IN THE COUNTRY OF JAPAN. THE SUCCESSFUL OFFEROR MUST BE LICENSED AND REGISTERED TO PERFORM THE SERVICE IN THE COUNTRY OF JAPAN.
