Project Title: Tactical Radio Upgrade for Communications Squadron, Yokota AB, Japan Announcement No.: FA5209-20-U-JW02 The Government hereby submits a notice of intent to award a sole source firm fixed price commodity contract for purchase of Tactical Radio Upgrade for Communications Squadron (COMM), Yokota AB. The total estimated value is less than $400,000.00. Requirement Description: This is a Firmed Fixed Price Purchase Order for supplies which will include the PRC-117G's, 2 PRC-160's, power amplifiers, rack mounts, radio amplifiers, antenna couplers, antennas, rack mounts, cabling and support equipment. This requirement is for the acquisition of the supplies identified below: Qty 2, Item No: PRC-117G, RADIO ASSY, TYPE IMULTIBAND MANPACK,W/GPS,W/WB SUPPLY COMSEC/DODACC/KLIF Qty 2, Item No: PRC-160, RADIO ASSEMBLY, HF MANPACK, MIL GPS Qty 2, Item: RACK MOUNTS Qty 1, Item COUPLERS Qty 2, Item BATTERY ELIMINATOR Qty 4, Item ANTENNAS Qty 2, Item: CABLING, REMOTE AND SUPPORT EQUIPMENT This sole source contracting action seeks an exception to full and open competition pursuant to FAR 13.106-1(b)(1). This hereby constitutes a synopsis of the requirement. Responses to this notice must demonstrate that more than one responsible source exists to fulfill the stated requirement. The determination not to compete this proposed contract action is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered for the purposes of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. The Government will not be responsible for any costs incurred by responding to this notice. This is NOT a request for quotes or proposals.
