Project Title: Land Mobile Radio Installation for Communications Squadron, Yokota AB, Japan Announcement No.: FA5209-20-U-JW01 The Government hereby submits a notice of intent to award a sole source firm fixed price commodity contract for purchase of Land Mobile Radio Installation for Communications Squadron (COMM), Yokota AB. The total estimated value is less than $250,000.00. Requirement Description: This is a Firmed Fixed Price Purchase Order for supplies which will include the configuration and installation of APX consolettes, configure and install MCD 5000 Desk sets, connect APX devices and MCD 5000's together, construct communications rack and ground rack and ensure full functionality of installed devices. This requirement is for the acquisition of the supplies identified below: Qty 1, Item No: LSV00Q00202A, Device programming / configuration Qty 1, Item No: LSV00Q00203A, Device installation Qty 37, Item No: F2380, MCD 5000 Desk set w/ assc. Qty 1050, Item No: DSFSJ150ACABLE, Coax Cable (by ft) Qty 1, Item No: DSGXTR18002038, Rack mounted UPS Qty 7, Item No: DSCXL22C, Omnidirectional Antennas w/ grounding This sole source contracting action seeks an exception to full and open competition pursuant to FAR 13.106-1(b)(1). This hereby constitutes a synopsis of the requirement. Responses to this notice must demonstrate that more than one responsible source exists to fulfill the stated requirement. The determination not to compete this proposed contract action is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered for the purposes of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. The Government will not be responsible for any costs incurred by responding to this notice. This is NOT a request for quotes or proposals.
