THIS IS A SOURCES SOUGHT NOTICE FOR INFORMATION ONLY. THIS IS NOT A REQUEST FOR QUOTATION OR AN ANNOUNCEMENT OF A SOLICITATION. This is to identify sources that can perform Japan-wide CULT Services. Firms who are interested should respond electronically to 2d Lt Tim Barbera via email at timothy.barbera.1@us.af.mil by 7 January, 2019 including the following: (1) name and address of firm; (2) a point of contact with name, title, phone, fax, and email; (3) cage code and DUNS number (if available). DESCRIPTION OF SERVICES: The Contractor shall provide all equipment, tools, materials, and associated labor necessary to perform any Common User Land Transportation (CULT) services across all of Japan (excluding Okinawa), including but not limited to chartered bus services, air-ride, general trucking, overweight and oversized freight trucking, lowbed trucking, etc. when, as and if scheduled by the Ordering Officer at any time during any calendar day. The Contractor must be duly authorized to operate and perform services required in the Performance Work Statement (PWS) in accordance with the terms and conditions under this contract and applicable Government of Japan (GOJ) laws and trade practices. The PWS will provide broad guidance for all CULT services, and each individual task order will have more specific instructions from the individual office which is making the task order. US Government will place an order for CULT services with the Contractor in accordance with the advance notification to be specified in the contract. The Contractor shall furnish vehicle(s) to transport personnel/cargo between the following points throughout the year when ordered. All costs of operation under this contract shall be borne by the Contractor, including but not limited to, tolls, licenses, costs of overtime, Sunday or holiday work, or for operations during stormy or inclement weather. EXPECTED PERFORMANCE PERIOD: Five year contract from 1 July, 2019 to 30 June, 2024.
