The government is looking for companies capable of providing API 1529, Grade 2, Type C, 2-1/2 inches 60 feet discharge hoses with API internally expanded couplers and unisex couplers, qty 4. These are required for hot refueling operations (aircraft engines running). Due to Air Force regulations, API/IP 1529, grade 2/3 Type C aviation fueling hoses are the only acceptable model.
