Description of Requirement: The contractor shall provide 800 pieces of plastic timber to use for Crash, Damaged or Disabled Aircraft Recovery (CDDAR) operations. Must meet Technical Order 00-80C-1, CDDAR Manual. Straight from the TO, "Cribbing has unlimited uses in aircraft recovery operations". We are requesting this material due to its weatherproof and sunlight resistant properties for all weather conditions. Plastic timbers are the most desirable material for cribbing because they are easier to store and more resistant to abuse caused by handling. Must be able to be used in a 6 over 6 configuration spaced at 15 inches apart to be able to support 40,000 to 60,000 pounds.
