THIS NOTICE IS FOR LOCAL SET-ASIDE IN JAPAN. The contractor shall furnish all personnel, supervision, materials, tools, equipment, supplies, vehicles, and any other resources necessary to accomplish the requirements of the Metalith barrier installation at Kyogamisaki Communication Sites (KCS) / Shariki Communication Site (SCS), Japan Place of Performance: Shariki Communications Site: Aomori, Japan Kyogamisaki Communications Site: Kyoto, Japan Site visits will be conducted in schedule listed below for the purpose of answering questions regarding this solicitation. All interested vendors intending to submit a proposal need to attend and submit the names of all attendees to Ms. Naomi Chiba, Contract Administrator, at 042-551-6120 (Fax 042-551-0973) or naomi.chiba.jp@us.af.mil prior to 20 May 19, 1100 hours Japan Standard Time . This information must be provided in advance in order to ensure access to the military base/conference site and adequate seating for the conference attendees. Offerors are urged and expected to inspect the sites where services are to be performed and to satisfy themselves regarding all general and local conditions that may affect the cost of contract performance, to the extent that the information is reasonably obtainable. In no event shall failure to inspect the site constitute grounds for a claim after contract award. In case of severe weather on the date of site visit, the Government may reschedule the site visit on a date to be determined by the Government. The Government is not liable for any costs incurred to participate in the site visit.
