The United States Air Force is looking for sources capable of providing a low nuclear density eGauge capable of measuing both asphalt and soil densities in a single machine. The Troxler 4540 eGuage has been identified as an acceptable product, and was solicited on a brand name basis on the contract effort FA502524QB007. The purpose of this notice is to verify if the conditions for a brand name solicitation still exist. Vendors who provide similar products shall submit a specifications sheet to the Contracting Officer highlighting the product's capability to perform the same work as the Troxler eGauge. This notice does not constitute nor guarentee a solicitation; this notice is for market research purposes only. Small Business products are highly encouraged to be submitted to the Contracting officer for consideration.
