The 513 ERHS Misawa Wi-Fi Services will be based in Misawa, Japan—a location that has long played a vital strategic role in U.S. and allied defense operations. It continues to evolve as a hub for readiness and infrastructure. As part of this ongoing commitment, maintaining robust and reliable Wi-Fi services has become an essential requirement for both operational efficiency and personnel welfare. The designated service areas support a wide range of operational, logistical, and residential activities. Ensuring high-speed, secure, and uninterrupted internet access is critical—not only for communications and data exchange, but also for sustaining morale, remote work capabilities, and digital coordination across key military and support facilities. With this initiative, the goal is clear: to maintain a connected, secure, and mission-ready environment in Misawa, Japan. As operations continue to evolve, reliable Wi-Fi access remains a small yet vital component in supporting the region’s broader objectives—enhancing communication, improving coordination, and elevating the quality of life for all ETSG personnel stationed at Misawa. This RFI announcement is NOT a Request for Proposal (RFP) and the Government is not committed to award a contract pursuant to this announcement. The information received from this RFI is for planning purposes only and will assist the Government in acquisition strategy planning.
