Eielson Air Force Base (EAFB) requires a comprehensive baseline assessment, inventory, and engineering design to support modernization and expansion of the Vindicator Intrusion Detection System (IDS) and Access Control System (ACS) at EAFB and its Geographically Separated Units (GSUs). The contractor will deliver a fully executable 100% Installation Design Plan (IDP) and finalized Bill of Materials (BOM) needed for the full system overhaul in FY27. The design will replace legacy equipment with a modern V6-based system, expand IDS coverage, transition network pathways from copper to fiber, integrate CCTV/VICADS, and establish a lifecycle sparing strategy. This plan will ensure EAFB meets all applicable Department of War (DoW) and other regulations. Amendment 0001 includes a Q&A addressing eligibility for the follow-on FY27 requirement.
